Jamarra Ugle-Hagan & Jack Macrae were on hand following their top-8 clash against Essendon to assist in an Auskick clinic conducted by East Sunbury Football Club, sponsored by the Kingsfield development.

Over 60 kids learned from the best in the park’s official opening, one of the many community events residents of Moremac estates have come to expect.

The developers have added to Sunbury’s sporting facilities with an open park which will include an Australian Rules oval, complete with AFL Junior goalposts, along with a full-sized senior soccer field and goals with netting.

The two sporting fields will be surrounded by significant open space as well as a communal space in the north-eastern corner alongside ample bench seating.

“We’re really excited to be adding a resource that’s not only for Kingfield residents, but the wider Sunbury community to access,” said Steve Butler, Development Director at Moremac.

“The future primary school will no doubt be an enormous bonus to the area but given the significant period before work begins, we really wanted to make use of the significant site.

“Adding the sporting facilities not only makes use of the site but solves the problem of having a large lot of land becoming an eyesore for the residents.”

Moremac’s investment into the Kingsfield site is another example of the developers truly engaging with their various communities throughout Victoria.

The developer has recently hosted a number of initiatives to foster healthy and cohesive relationships including movie screenings, a series of food trucks visiting estates and festive celebrations throughout the year.

“Making our residents feel a part of their new community is really important to us, we feel really strongly about fostering that growth and goodwill across our estates,” said Lachlan Moore, Sales and Marketing Director at Moremac.

“Creating the type of community where you can feel comfortable getting together is something we’re passionate about at Moremac and by providing some use in this currently vacant space at Kingsfield, we can facilitate more of those events to build more goodwill among the estate.”

The park at Kingsfield will be open to the public until construction begins on the education facility with a date to be confirmed.
