Stage 2B situated in the southern part of the site along Point Boulevard will include the construction of 17 new residential lots.
The ground works at The Point will also see the early delivery of a footpath linking Point Boulevard to Fellows Road to allow safer access for residents and locals along Shell Road.
With sales continuing to impress well into the winter months, Moremac will now look to release Stage Three in the coming weeks. This stage is set to feature a variety of quality land ranging from 400 square metres to 576 square metres with frontages from 12.5 metres to 1.8 metres.
The project’s latest stage was released to the market earlier this year and has already reached 50 per cent sold to mostly local purchasers from the surrounding Bellarine area.
Moremac Property Group director Duncan McLellan said since purchasing the project late last year, the outlook had improved significantly, with important civil works commencing ahead of schedule and home construction forging ahead across the site.
“Moremac is thrilled to report that since purchasing The Point late last year, interest has never been stronger, and as a result we are about to commence construction on our first stage of civil works as the project’s new developer,” Mr McLellan said.
“This announcement, along with the sustained demand for land at The point since we re-launched the project late last year, signals great news for residents as it means the project will continue to transform at a rapid rate.
“It’s great to have reached such an important construction milestone and wish to acknowledge the assistance of the City of Greater Geelong throughout the planning process.”
